All of our group enjoyed the usual collective party on the Saturday and the "au revoir" gathering on the Monday, both held at the new Salle de Fetes in La Saussaye.
The highlight of the weekend was the excellent day's visit to Rouen where we were treated to an interesting guided tour at and around the environs of the Cathedral and a nice meal at a nearby restaurant, followed by a visit to the ironwork museum.
Members of the group travelled independently to Val d'Oison for the weekend incorporating various routes and various lengths of stay with their hosts. The weather was lovely and we were treated to a variety of separate activities by our hosts, including several visits to other members of the hosts' families.  As always, we were given an excellent welcome and we imbibed in the usual array of French wines, cheeses and seafood.
We all felt happy with our valuable enduring friendships, not only with our own particular hosts but with the whole Twinning accord.
