Tony White
We were very sorry when Tony White decided to step down from the Committee where he had been the Treasurer for many years. He was always level headed and fair minded and kept a good rein on the funds. He was the main instigator in providing the Association with extra money from outside sources in particular, from the Parish Council and eventually from European Funding for which he put in many, many hours of work. He kept the accounts well and was always willing to answer questions, however awkward, that came up at the AGM about the finances clearly and honestly.
He was an excellent “Bookie” as “Honest Tony” at our Race Nights and earned the nickname.
We hope his health improves and that he and Marie enjoy this extra time together and with their family.
Thanks again Tony for the time and commitment you have given to the Committee and the Association over the years.

Rob Warrick
Originally from Manchester I moved south to begin my career with CAA/National Air Traffic Services at the London Air Traffic Control Centre, West Drayton, Middx. back in 1982. I'm currently working in Flight Data Processing at Swanwick Centre. I relocated to Clanfield in August 2006 due to the impending closure of the West Drayton facility. Married to Karen, a teacher in Art and Design at Basingstoke College of Technology specialising in Fashion. I have 2 children - Ellie at TPS and George at Petersgate Infants School.
Was formerly a member of the Flers Association in Warminster, Wilts where my mother lives - Flers is Warminster's twin-town in Normandy. Having studied French to "A" level my language is pretty reasonable so have always enjoyed visiting/touring France and I now look forward to getting to know a different corner of Normandy!

We are sorry to see Colin Tegg and Tony White leave the Committee but would like to
welcome Michael Bever in the role of Treasurer and Rob Warrick who has volunteered
to take the role of chair in 2010.
